Just got back from the spunky physio and all will be fine, it is definitley the ITB Tendon and it has started to happen due to my lack of training and loss of strength in my thighs and glutes, so I am starting a strengthening program and am not going to be able to do any Enduro's for about 6 weeks. I should be right for the next FTF XC hopefully but for now plenty of stretching and a pilates class a week and make sure I stick to his program and I will be right.

What's a foam roller?
He did mention filling a foam cup with water and freezing it then when I get the pain again after a race to use it to roll up and down my outer thigh, is that the same thing?
